TERMS AND CONDITIONS

About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to individual course bookings and purchases of on-demand educational content made directly from Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd. Where Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd works with external institutions or venues to deliver the practical or in-person components of a course or workshop, additional requirements relating to the host institution, facilities, health and safety, access or local procedures may also apply. Any such requirements are supplementary to these Terms and Conditions and do not replace them unless expressly stated in writing by Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd.

Booking and payment

Places are limited and allocated on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis. A place on a course is confirmed only once full payment has been successfully received. Booking confirmation and a receipt will be issued electronically. Each booking is for one delegate place unless otherwise stated. Course fees are shown in GBP. The total price payable, including VAT where applicable, will be clearly displayed before payment.

Course information

We aim to ensure that all course information is accurate at the time of booking. However, minor changes to teaching order, faculty, timings, venue arrangements or practical session structure may occasionally be necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to registered delegates as soon as reasonably possible. For courses comprising more than one component, the course start date is the date of the first scheduled component unless otherwise stated.

Delegate cancellation

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd. Cancellations made more than 45 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 45 days of the course start date are non-refundable. These arrangements reflect the advance commitments and limited-capacity nature of our courses. Where a cancelled place is subsequently filled, or the loss arising from the cancellation is lower than anticipated, the amount retained will be reviewed to reflect the reasonable costs and losses associated with the cancellation. Delegate substitutions may be accepted with prior approval, provided that the replacement delegate meets any applicable course eligibility requirements.

Cancellation or postponement by Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd

Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel a course where reasonably necessary, including due to insufficient enrolment, venue issues, faculty illness, travel disruption, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If a course is cancelled or materially rescheduled, delegates will be offered either a transfer to a rescheduled or alternative course date or a refund of the course fee paid. Travel, accommodation and other arrangements made independently by delegates are not included within the course booking. We therefore recommend using flexible or refundable arrangements where possible. Any refund of the course fee does not include separately arranged travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.

Attendance and participation

Delegates are responsible for ensuring that the course is suitable for their level of experience, professional role and learning objectives. Practical courses may involve cadaver-based training, ultrasound-guided procedures, handling of equipment, prolonged standing and small-group practical work. Delegates must follow all health and safety instructions, venue rules and faculty guidance during the course. Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd reserves the right to restrict or refuse participation where there are reasonable concerns regarding safety, professional conduct or suitability for a practical activity.

On-demand educational content

On-demand lectures and other digital educational content are provided for the personal educational use of the registered purchaser. Access is individual and should not be shared or transferred to another person. The period of access will be clearly stated before purchase and in the purchase confirmation. Access is made available immediately following purchase once the purchaser has agreed to the immediate supply of the digital content during checkout. As access to on-demand content begins immediately, purchases are non-refundable once access has been activated, subject to any applicable statutory rights. All videos, presentations and supporting materials remain the intellectual property of Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd and/or the relevant contributors and are intended for individual educational use. They should not be shared, reproduced or used for commercial teaching without prior permission. We aim to provide reliable access to all purchased content. If a significant technical issue prevents access, we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative.

Certificates

Certificates of attendance or completion will be issued according to the course format and attendance requirements. Certificates may only be issued to delegates who complete the required components of the course.

Intellectual property

All course materials, slides, recordings, handouts and supporting resources are provided for personal educational use only. They must not be copied, shared, reproduced, recorded, distributed or used for commercial teaching without prior written permission from Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd.

Photography and recording

Delegates must not photograph, film or record teaching sessions, faculty, other delegates, cadaveric material or practical procedures unless permission has been expressly granted. Where Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd takes photographs or recordings for educational or promotional purposes, delegates will be informed and personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where consent is relied upon, it will be obtained accordingly.

Data protection

Personal information provided during registration or purchase will be used to manage bookings, process payments, provide access to educational content, communicate relevant information, issue certificates and maintain appropriate records. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and the Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd Privacy Policy.

Liability

Inspire U Pain Sciences Ltd takes reasonable care in the organisation and delivery of its courses and educational content and aims to provide a safe and professionally delivered learning environment. We are not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for arrangements made independently of the course booking, such as travel or accommodation.

Legal rights

These Terms and Conditions apply alongside any rights provided by applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
